That sounds safe.

i like the wheels you have on your yellow fofo, i think those are the best stock wheels that are an option with the new fofo, the rest of the other wheels are lame or ugly.

oh and its difficult to get ticketed for tints, because the popo have to have a special tint gun i hear, and its automatic court, pretty much so you can fight it and i bet alot of ppl win cuz they prolly really just don't care about the tinting, hence why not every cop has a tint gun
i don't think you get ticketed for it either, just mandatory court haha

Oh.. not here...
Some jerks of a cop will have you tear out the tinting if they pull you over AND ticket you.
You can't drive away unless you do... or have your car towed. :(

But, that's only in rare cases, for the most part, they don't seem to care... about anything really...
one headlight... Ignore
no brake light... Ignore
running a red light... Ignore
no turn signal... Ignore
120 in a 45 zone... Ignore... but warn him not to speed when he pulls over to gas up.... >.> True story...

I've been pulled over 3-4 times for tint and every time the police officer had a tint reader. They just place the reader over the window. It shines a light through one side and reads the light allowed to pass on the other.

In WI i was told "most" local police dont bother with tint unless its obvious, but the state troop that got me in my last car. (i have heard too they will take a razor blade and put slashes in the tint so they know if you get pulled over again you were warned) Tint was the fist thing out of his mouth than came the speeding. and my tint read at 27% strange and 35% is legal. Oh and if you have never peeled of tint is a MAJOR PAIN!!!

All 4 times my vehicles have been pulled over for tint (3 times me drive, once my wife) we were doing nothing else wrong. They literally pulled us over only for tint.

I guess someone has to help fund these ridiculously high 'hand me out' state taxes we have.

Oh and your reading will usually be lower than the tint you have because the factory glass will typically have a 3-4% blockage.

how much are tint tickets? i haven't had a problem in IL, and i see sooooooo many with tints, plus everytime i get pulled over, i roll down my front windows just so they can't do anything once they get close haha

It will depend on your state, but ours are around $125... Completely ridiculous.
