Window tinting

In my state, it is legal to have up to 35% driver and passenger window tints.
The back can go all the way to 0%, as long as it's non-reflective.

I was thinking maybe doing
50% Driver/Passenger
20% Rear and back seats

What do you guys think?

I suggest 35% on front door windows, 20% on rear doors and back windows. I've had this setup for my last two cars, and it's perfect for me. I think you might regret going as light as 50% for the front doors.

I recently bought a Groupon for tinting at a local shop and I've been debating what percentage to choose when I drop the car off Saturday. 35% is legal in MD and I'm leaning toward that all the way around. I had 20% put on my last car, but I wanted to match the tint on the rear windows that came from the factory. I think 20% would look too dark against the bright Blue Candy paint.

I'd go as dark as you possibly can on the fronts. You'll only regret it later if you don't. The first thing I do any time I buy a car is go get 5% tint done all around as well as a big strip across the front windshield but they're not real strict on tint in oklahoma.

50% tint is hardly even noticeable.. I'd go 35 up front and ~20 on the back. It's a pretty common pairing.

35 up front and rear window, 20 on the rear passenger and side windows, 5 for visor tint and moonroof.

This will give you mo' cool and you'll still be able to see out at night without rolling your windows down.

I have 10 all around and should have went 5 up front and 0 on the back. The darker the better for tint. IMO

being front tint is legal, I'd go 20% in the back and 35% on the fronts. 50% is useless. I had this setup before. If you like it dark, go with 5% on back. Where I live no front tint is legal so after getting pulled over all the time, I went 5% on the backs and that's it.

just go 20% all round. its nice and a good solid dark tint, but still not that pitch black look that will get you pulled over. in certain lights 20% looks like a 35%, but at night you basically can't see in it. during the day its usually a dark silo at best with 20%

This. Law is 50% fronts in Ohio and I have 12% all around. I wouldn't go any lighter (and thinking about going 5%). Best mod you can do to a new car.
