Correct these are some of the many bugs with the "not so charming" MFT 3.0.2 upgrade ... sooo glad to have a good working; originally installed, v2.10 system. I'm actually very happy with my MFT system. The v2 system has way less bugs IMO and actually operates like a functional and appealing infotainment system should. No "quirky" behavior at all. Would be nice to get the updated maps for my nav but worth dealing with that to have a good working MFT.

We can all hope the rumors are true about another upgrade in the works from Ford that will fix all the known bugs and give back some (or all) of the removed or deleted features that this performance upgrade (v3.0.2) took away. Lost features and a huge list of known bugs (way more than the v2) sounds like a failed upgrade to me!

I'll do you one better - video of the missing frequencies phenomenon:

YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

Note that they seem to disappear randomly and that the only way to get them back is to cycle through audio sources (e.g. FM > AM > FM) before returning to the original source.

I have the same problem.
It also happens when I get in the car.
The funny thing is that it is never a station I listen to or one that is even in the presets.

Mind you I only have WNYC, WQXR, and NJ Public Radio programmed in the FM presets since I only listen to Car Talk and A Prairie Home Companion and a few other NPR shows on FM. On AM it is just WNYC, WCBS (Yankees and traffic), and WINS (traffic).

It also in AM mode seems to for a second or two have stations like 771 AM show up.

Yeah... I have to laugh every time it picks some random-ass station. Maybe it's a station the programmers used to test the system and they left the code in when they released the software.

Thanks for providing this, TiPilot! One last question for clarification, it looks like the stations are apparearing, but there's a delay. Is that correct?

^^ looks like the delayed info in that video is actually the metadata from the radio station, ex. Artist and song playing. If you look carefully the station number itself never shows up until he switches sources.

Ive actually had similar issues too. It appears to be a bug. Also in my case, ive left my car listening to one channel, only to return a few mins later to a random channel picked by the car. I remember specifically because a ball game was on I was interested in, only to return to light rock...lol

Actual frequency (107.7, etc.) does not appear without cycling audio sources. Metadata does appear once the HD signal is locked in, which usually takes a few seconds.

Thanks for clarifying blackraven456 and TiPilot.

I'll forward onto engineering and let you know when I hear something. :)
