Wow man, thanks for holding my car in such high regard. Getting into a magazine would be a dream come true! I still think it needs a little more work on fine details before it's worthy of a magazine, but i'd LOVE to be able to get it there!

Alright, so moving on to some smaller details of the build now that the major components are taken care of....

after MONTHS AND MONTHS of trying to track down OEM focus RS foglights, I decided to research some other options. I bought some Projector foglights on ebay to give them a shot..... They came in yesterday so I held one up in the bumper to see how they'd look

I think they'll work out nicely, especially for my replica bumpers because those won't have the mounting embossments on the back for OEM fogs. These ones come with mounting brackets, I think I'll whip up something to mount them to the radiator support.

sorry guys, since the car is DRIVEABLE the smaller details are on the backburner. I just had a grandfather pass away while my grandmother was in the hospital for emergency surgery and then was on vacation. House needs a roof and it's motorcycle season and all the setbacks on the focus put me behind on a bobber/chopper build I was doing over winter and I'm trying to finish that so I can get some riding in this season. Will be a few weeks before I get around to messing with the car more.

I just went through the entire build process. I am impressed beyond explanation. The car looks amazing! Great work and nice job not giving up!

Thanks! I've really been wanting to get back to working on it and getting the loose ends (detail pieces) tied up, but I'm just plain too busy with other things.

Anyone that's on Focaljet, I'm in the running for Focus of the Month based on who has done a superior amount of fabrication to their own car.....I'd love some support ;-)

Oh, and I don't know how many people here are into motorcycles too, but this is what I was trying to get rideable while the weather is nice (in conjunction with other things causing the lack of progress on the focus)

I built the hard-tail from scratch, fabricated forward controls using some old box-wrenches, and a whole bunch of other little details where I made weird odds-n-ends work as motorcycle parts lol
