I'm currently being held up by a delayed order of materials I placed back on the 15th....I have sent an email this morning wondering where my order is and am awaiting a response....the 10-day forecast shows I may have a shot at molding my fenders next weekend which will be a big jump forward in progress. I'm quietly freaking out with how little time I have to get the car actually DONE before Spring-into-Focus april 28th.....so much to still do!

I've been working with a realtor to try to lease a shop, I don't want to have to try to produce these parts out of my one car garage if there's going to be any sort of demand for them. My prices would be VERY competitive.....the Extreme dimensions front bumper for standard width is something like $400ish.....I want to be around $500-600 per bumper for true replicas. I figure by the time I have every single part needed for conversion molded and fabricated, it'll run someone about $3500+/- not including shipping to obtain the full kit.....then it's just bodywork and paint from there. I feel that's a pretty awesome price considering just a few years ago the quarterpanels were $1500 per side and fenders were $750 per side....

Thanks Chalon, I finally put on the Imola's I got through you, no pics yet because the car is blocking into the driveway by a car with a blown transmission.....

I really treated this whole build as if I was doing it to bring the availability of this conversion back to life.....all of these parts were available with a phonecall back when ford racing and capaldi racing had them in stock.....and I know there were quite a few people that were upset to miss out on those parts when they were around, myself included (well, I DID get my bumpers and wing from capaldi when they were almost gone)

I just hope when all is said and done I didn't waste any effort, money, and time making molds.......I've spent a great deal of my own money on materials hoping that it will become of use to fellow focus enthusiasts in the way of selling them some parts. I'd hate to think I spent all the extra time and money when the car could've been finished sooner had I not needed to mold parts before painting and installing them on my own car.

I'm sure you will find people that need the parts and they will appreciate the time you put into this. Plus, its probably reassuring to yourself to have backups/replacements available if you ever get into a fender bender or whatever.

T minus 32 days and counting until SiF, I'm looking forward to see this car on the road in any shape/form

ugh, that's so little time! I've got quite a list to finish beforehand

I'm going to totally overhall the suspension since I found some badly worn heim joints in my Focus Central tubular toe arms and control arms.....so I ordered new heims, prothane trailing arm bushings, SPC camber arms, and might also toss new shocks/struts in.

I have to mold the fenders and make myself a set

I have to finish the quarterpanel rub strips, and mold those

I have to finish molding my RS replica wing, and then repair it

I have to build and mold an RS replica front grille

I have to make a shaved hatch trim strip

Then I have to paint everything on that list, install it all, wetsand and buff the whole car, and get an alignment. all in 32 days.
