radio problem

Hi i have just joined the forum and was wondering if anybody has a solution to my problem,i purchased a 2012 focus titanium hatchback in march and last week had it into my dealer to get a small problem fixed,but since i brought it home i've had problems with the radio the problem is this,when the engine is stopped the radio continous for about 10 mins then goes off but i have to restart the engine to get it on again,it won't go on with the on/off button it is a Sony is there any way to reset the radio or do i have to take it back to the dealer Thanks Gary

Which button? The on/off button to the left of SONY? The radio will stay on after turning off the engine until you open the door.

If I continue to listen to the radio after I have stopped the engine the radio stays on for 10 minutes then goes off(to save the battery I believe) but to get the radio back on I have to start the engine, the on/off button does not switch it on

Do you have the MFT upgrade thumb drive and the nav card that came in the mail in March? If so, and assuming they are not yet applied, maybe you should upgrade.

Someone on another forum thinks the reason I can't switch it on/off at the button is to save the battery from discharging

RADIO PROBLEM
Hey Iam a new guy to all this and I have a radio problem.....I have a 2003 Focus se. I had the 6 disc changer 6006 and the volume knob took a crap on me. I thought id be slick and find a replacement on ebay. I got a 2003 ford(Blaupunkt) radio cd mp3 player for like 35$. I thought I scored until I saw the completely different harness hook ups. What do I do now?
