So what juicer do you use?

I've been intrigued by juicing for a while. Seems like an easy way to eat healthy foods. The cost for the juicer and figuring out which works best for vegetables (especially veggies like spinach) has kept me from doing it.

I probably won't go full out like you, but I can see myself having juice for breakfast and some lunches.

Also, what recipes did you use and what did they taste like? I've also heard that if you do it right you really can't taste much of the veggies, but wasn't sure if that meant too much fruit and not enough veggies for it to be healthier.

That is true if you add like really sweet fruit like strawberries and things of that sort it over powers the taste of the veggies and then all you taste is mostly fruit. I usually mix strawberries bananas and spinach in a blender with a little bit fruit juice after the gym and I barley taste the spinach.

Nice. I'm hoping I can still get a pretty veggie heavy mix without it tasting too awful...I've never had carrot juice, maybe the sweetness of that will help make it more palatable as well.

No sense in doing the juice thing and going heavy on fruits...I really need more veggies in my diet. And while I actually love greens like spinach, it sounds awful in liquid form.

Yea that is a problem I have also I need more veggies in my diet. But yea you can get a pretty good taste by adding sweet fruit to a pretty good amount of veggies.

My number one recipe was spinach carrots green apples and maybe a little strawberry
Honestly that's the only drink I could stand to drink!
I would pretty much do fruits in the morning and Veggies the rest of the day. Veggies were one of the hardest thing I had to do no matter what I did they didn't taste good whatsoever! Id plug my nose pulled the cup back and went for it every time followed by a slice of lemon in my mouth!
Vegetable juices were absolutely horrible but I had a goal at hand and I wasn't going to be defeated!
The only thing that kept me going is literally the fat just falling off my body some days I'd drop 3 pounds in a day!
