RedFocz's results pretty much sold me on the Steeda CAI. It's on my to-buy list now. I'll probably throw it on at the same time as I get an FSwerks exhaust. Hopefully, by then there'll be some ECU options for us FF owners. If not, I might have to ask what my local tuner (fairly experienced in Fords) can do for a custom tune.

they probably wont be able to do anything more if the major tuning companies havnt, the ecu is encrypted that is why it is taking so long for options to become available.

These guys with intakes have to be careful. When in CL, the car can adjust the fuel trims to reach ideal fueling but once the car transitions into OL, it's blind as a bat. If you're introducing more air into the engine, you're not getting more fuel. Your only hope is the efficiency of DI engines and the quality of gas.
I do have my Air Fuel numbers when mine was dynoed just don't think anyone wants to wade through about 16 pages of numbers but can give certain data points if your interested. It pulled numbers about every 5 rpm thats why so much data.

Are you going to run a 4-1 header or 4-2-1? and this is interesting news to see with just intake and exhaust.. granted the hood is open. I wonder what the power diff is with the hood closed if there is any.

No dyno is ever done with the hood closed... Unless it was done in a wind tunnel in which case it would make more power...

Much like dynoeing a motorcycle you cant tell how much power it has because at 100+ the .9 PSI of air makes a 10-12whp difference.
