You ripping me off now Redfocz?!

JFWY, sounds good. I used a 6" round Magnaflow in place of the front muffler, and ditched the lunchbox and resonator. Be interested in hearing how the two compare person.

hmm really?? Who would have thought that putting a muffler on your car would make it quieter then cutting a muffler off?? Thats just so bizarre. I thought that mufflers were supposed to make your car louder...

Because this is a full exhaust from the cat back with 2.5 piping with a res and muffler. SO that is why it was suprising that it was quiter then just the removel of the rear muffler.

I'll be very interested to see your numbers considering we will have the same intake and a similar exhaust setup.

Well intake came in yesterday, took less the 24 hours for dilvery and was installed today. Looking to get a stock ms3 rear motor mount and head to the dyno. Dyno will happen regardless of getting the mount but that's next for me.

Seems like we might start a trend here, Redfocz. I'm hope to be buying the K&N intake soon, but dyno time around here is pretty expensive, so I'm not sure when that will happen.

One of the reasons the full setup Redfocz did is quieter than stock is the difference in the muffler size. The rear muffler is huge, but the front muffler is quite small, and the resonator is fairly small, too. So if you cut out the rear muffler and run the stock small muffler and resonator, then it's going to be fairly loud. But remove the small muffler and replace it with a larger one, and you get a far better sound, IMO.

Sounds like we need to do a Southeast Focus meet sometime...
