Scotch Guard Carpets

anyone buy a brand new focus and spray anything on the carpets ?

The first things I did to protect the my Ti.

1. Scotch Guard the carpets.
2. Krown rust protection.
3. Professional detailing (remove contaminants, and wax to protect the paint).

Yes. I used scotch guard on the floor mats, carpet, and seats. I have heard that Aerospace 303 High Tech Fabric Guard is better than Scotch Guard but it is not available at local parts stores, only specialty boat/RV stores or online. Make sure you wipe down any plastic that you accidentally spray with the scotch guard because it will leave a residue if you don't.

I also used Black Magic interior protectant with the matte finish on my dash and all plastics. I like the results, doesn't look shiny like armor all and smells good too.
