Sounds like fun to me and I have a pro DSLR for the pics and a tripod and such. I can bring it just in case we do that. It would be great to find a place for some good group pics for sure.

I have a Canon 30D and three lenses, a 28~105, 17~35, and a 100~300 zoom. I can also possibly get a 70~200 F4. I may also be able to borrow a new Lumix GH2 that will be hacked for better HD video as well. I also have a nice little PaS that is really nice for basic video and pics a F2000D.

I know everything about those E28s. Which is what a 88 535i is. Is it nice or does it need work?

Look at the trunk lid, if it says Is it is the sport also the seats have to be recaro looking for it to actually be a sport. Saw the pics, that is a regular 535i with the Is / M5 front dam and trunk lid spoiler which is called the M Tech spoiler. The only difference between it and the real 535iS is the front seats which in your case are called the comfort seats which will have electronic adjusters, and are BIG and HEAVY! And the suspension on the Is is a slight drop and stiffer than that car had stock. By the looks of the pics that car also has a suspension on it probably Eibach springs and a set of yellow Bilstein Sport shocks and struts. The Is and M5 all had what they called the Sport Seats in them which look like Recaros and are manual seats.
