I take some offense at the idea that you might be inferring any of us were abusing our cars. Nobody was abusing their cars last Sunday. We're all enthusiasts and were just having some fun. My Focus is my daily as well. Ya just need to learn to have some fun, learn the limits of your car and keep up.

You do own an SVT it's not just a run of the mill Focus. It'll take quite a bit of "fun" before anything will break. You can track that puppy and still drive it daily.

The dual stage intake opens at 5,000rpms and just howls, it's a ton of fun to hear and experience. At 93K your car is still young. It may need a timing belt soon, but if she's running strong and there's no noises...

Oh no I didnt mean to offend u or any other member, sorry if I said that wrong I meant by saying I'm the 3rd owner of this car so I'm just worried the past owners didn't take care of this car cause I heard the blue and grey SVT at the meet and their cars sounded healthier than mine. I'm sure all u guys take care and maintenance your cars, so your car is in tip top shape compare to mine

Dude, I think Sonic was kidding you round. AND that being your DD and ONLY DD, I can totally see that you wouldn't want to push it too hard. I do that on my bikes and even this FOcus.

HAHA! That is a great way to look at it! I do that with my motorcycles! BUt that is because I can do all the repair myself. If I had a lift, I would do that with my Focus. When are we all going to do a tech day? I now want to do stiffer shocks and struts.....and a set of poly mounts for the motor and trans.
