Trade In Quote On a 2009 SES Sedan

Hey guys. I recently was at a dealership checking out the nice deals they have going on right now and had my Focus quoted for Trade-in. Here is some info about my car and what they offered. I am looking for a little insight on the offer...

2009 Ford Focus SES Sedan - Black
~40,000 miles
Moon Roof
Audiophile
Heated Leather
Basically loaded
Was in 1 accident that was considered minor and no air bags have been deployed. Repairs were done at AAA certified For Dealership and are guaranteed.

They offered $10,500

Is this fair? Or do you think I could get considerably more on the open market? I also have a set of winter wheels and tires with only 1 and half seasons on them, which I plan on selling separately if I trade it in.

Thank you in advance for any insight/advice.

Just look what similarly featured vehicles are going for on Carsoup and Auto trader. Compare to KBB.com and NADA.com.

I'd say $10,500 is agressive there is a 2009 SES with 48k for $12,994 with no accidents and that is what they are asking for it not what it sells for.

$10,500 IMHO sounds good for a dealer trade.

Thanks for the input. I really just wasn't sure how much the accident cost me in terms of value when II compare it to other listings.

Thanks again.

And the other portions of the deal?

Please be award that when a poster like this comes on there very well maybe a portion of the deal where the dealership made back it's profit on say a lose on a trade (AKA your still paying for it, but you don't know it)
