AR103's will give a noticeable bump in mpg's, smoothness, and a tiny bit of torque based on a butt dyno. I love them.

Bought my car with 30,000 miles and put in the AR103's they definetly made a difference with power and smoother idle.

The other day i noticed if im doing speed limit say 30 with steady throttle . my engine was like skipping... still smooth idle but.... I usally burn mid grade gas cuz i get better mileage and burns better, but when i noticed the skipping i had filled up on regular juice...

I still can't figure out why BOSCH Plat/Ir Fusion plugs get no love, but I think most of you guys have convinced me to switch over to the 103s, at least to give them a try. If I end up not likely them, I can always just put the Plat/Ir back in.

You'll be very happy you switched, just remember they won't last as long as the iridiums. But hey they are real easy to change out so no sweat.

About the Bosch plugs, I don't like them because I bought a set for my ZX2 and they were not working well with the Zetec engine for whatever reason. There is one or two other threads that talk about the Autolite AR103 and a couple of other plugs for our cars.

It's just a temp range - nothing else. I noticed a gain with just a K&N air filter...

every time i see this 103 topic i scratch my head. i have an 05 zxw with a D20, it runs like total shart with AR103s. gapped anywhere from 050-060, no difference. misfires, stumbling etc. how are nonmodded d20s running these plugs with no issues?

I have a 2.3D with only a sri and I had the stumbling issue with the AR103 gapped at .055, until I changed my fuel filter...
