I'm not sure if you're just having a shitty day but seriously dude? Change your tampon.

There are a lot of people with a large variance in automotive knowledge. Hence, why forums exist in the first place. If we all knew everything then there would be no reason to be here at all.

Further more, if something like this sends you over the edge, you probably don't belong on the internet anyways.

Moose, you've only been here a couple months. Stick around a little longer and you'll understand. This place can get quite like Pete and Repeat with people constantly using improper terminology along with people constantly arguing against you when they don't even know what they're talking about. I completely understand Rat's frustration.

While I may be new to this forum, I have probably over 15,000 posts on over 10 different automotive forums, over the last 10 years. I'm certain not new to any of these issues.

You just sort of have to learn to tune them out and try to help those you can. If someone isn't willing to listen, then you can't do much for them.

I will admit this forum is a some what new animal for me, in that this is probably the least enthusiast car I've ever owned.

I was going to say... I've spent my fair share of time on other forums as well over the last decade. This one is a whole new ball game. It's supposed to be an enthusiast car, but the forum makes it a seem more like a bitch car. Maybe in due time thanks to the likes of FocusBoy and others who are jumping head first in to doing things with this car.

100%.

I think this is what happens when you get on forums for an entry-level car. Bunch of little kids who know better than you.

Eh stick around...you've been a great help to this forum. Maybe try changing your "internet filter" and see how it goes. I've not been as active lately for a number of reasons, but what Beta says below is true:

got the TSB done. Seems great so far. Clutch grabs without gas, and I can accelerate smoothly in 1st, and when shifting into 2nd. Also noticed the car isn't as jerky when in low gear, trying to navigate through parking lots and such.
