I want to dress up the rear, but I think if I do it, I'm going to do the dual tip thing and make cut outs. Maybe oval tips or something. I haven't decided what I think will look best. Photoshop will be my friend.

Looks OK, but I wonder if cutting the pipe back a bit and MIG welding a stainless steel tube on the end might look/last better.

I went to my local muffler shop and had this put on, $40 installed. Looks the way a Titanium level car should have come from the factory.

I like the look of this a lot better.

Has anyone found any exhaust tips made for the focus that aren't from China? I'm still skeptical on the quality and I'd pay more than the ebay prices for a solid one

I just ordered a USA made Magnaflow weld-on tip for the Focus. I'm going for the OEM+ look and don't want anything to stick out or look out of place. It's more expensive, but I think I'll be happier with it in the long run.

I installed mine same as OP about 3 weeks ago I think it looks great. The only difference is mine does not have that crazy gap because I pushed it back as far as it could go without touching the bumper. Here's the pics.

the only time you see the gap is if your really close and low...oh and I could see the stock pipe after installing it so far back so I took a can of black spray paint and shot 2 sprays of it through the mesh to hit the tip and hide it...looks great IMHO for $20+ bucks it's a good deal we will see how they last.

That was one thing that I never understood considering how good the car looks, that it never came with a tip, at any trim. I have been shopping around but haven't found one that has really caught my eye. After seeing some pics in here, I know for sure that the chrome tip looks better, I just have to find the right one!

Interesting timing for me to find this thread.

Ordered this morning!

Ford really should include some type of tip at least on the Titanium, if not the SEL as well. You rarely see a plain-old exhaust pipe on cars these days.
