Does this look like accident damage?

I recently bought a 2012 Focus SE with 18k. Carfax was clean. Checked the car inside and under, didn't see anything that looked new or replaced. All the spacing and lines are clean and even, nothing to really indicate an accident. With that and the carfax, I figured I was good.

Today however, I noticed the the passenger door (and to a lesser extent the drivers door) is 'pushed' in a little at the top, and 'pushed' out a little at the bottom. I'm not sure if this is normal, a sign of an unreported accident, or just something that has fallen out of spec overtime.

Top of passenger door looking from front to rear

Bottom of passenger door looking rear to front

Top of driver door looking from front to rear

Bottom of driver door looking rear to front

All the lines around the door itself, the hood, and the front quaterpanel are strait and even. Thank you for looking!

So the front doors don't close all the way at the back?

Its out of alignment then. Could be accident or wear or wasnt built right. Basically anything.

They close all the way, but the top of the door is a few millimeters pushed towards the inside of the car, the bottom of the door is a few millimeter pushed away from the car.

You can either take it back to them & see what they say or you can roll the window down & tweak the door your self, by pulling or pushing a little on the door frame & try pulling out on the lower door edge. Just a little tweaking is all it needs.

The door is just out of alignment. All manufacturers can have this issue though its not ford specific. Dealers are supposed to fix any issues that make it past the qc people at the factory. Its not too hard to fix at all. I used to work at a chrysler dealership between 2007 and 2010 and you should have seen some of the issues we had with cars from the factory. We had a few cars that the doors were so out of alignment they would not open and a few that were missing lug nuts and other small item that people forgot to install. Nothing to worry about.

Tbh, Carfax doesn't mean crap. Only accidents reported shows up. My certified pre owned 12 hb had been backed into and i went thru hell and high water and still haven't got it fixed right. Tech at Lance Cunningham duct taped the fog light in and didn't write it up so they say i did it. so if its under any kind of warranty take it back before you even think about touching anything

My doors were like that from brand new, and are now adjusted to be lined up correctly.
