I think I was just destined to miss out on these rims. The center caps I ordered to replace the SVT center caps that came with the rims got lost in the mail. However, the seller I bought them from on Ebay agreed to a full refund. Man I am just having no luck with anything right now. But that ended up working out for the best.

Now for another Shatty situation. Since I thought I was going to Chicago, I bought a Strut Tower Bar from a member on here that was near the location I was going to get the rims. He had it listed at $70 pick-up and $80 shipped. Well I paid $70 since I was going to pick it up but since I am not going to Chicago I sent him another $10 and gave him the address to ship it to. Well he hasn't gotten back to me and I am a little worried because I sent it Via PayPal as a gift so I don't know if you can open up a complaint on something like that. I know he has been on here today because his last activity was after I sent the PM and I also have his number but he is not responding to my texts. I will give it a day or two and give him a call because I don't want it to come across as me thinking he isn't going to send it. But hope that all works out.

I'm 2 hours from Chicago.. and my girlfriend lives 2 hours from the Twin Cities. For that $50 you lost out on, I could have picked up the wheels and brought them with me to my girlfriend's the next time I'm up that way (at least once a week.)
But that doesn't help you now lol. |

It's about $100 to ship wheels.
I have been on both ends of this type of situation in the past 3 months. I put money down on a motorcycle, and had an alternator go out on me the very next week. I asked if he could please refund and keep 50 for his trouble. he was totally okay with it. I also sold something to someone here, then they realized it wouldn't fit, so I refunded his deposit. Shit happens. You went about it the right way. Matt
