I like it, but I got the K&N cause I was worried about messing with the factory MAF sensor

I'd be more worried about heat soak. The filters is pretty exposed but I'm sure it provides a nice improvement while moving.

I've really liked it so far. What I have thought about doing is getting a pre-filter from injen to keep moisture off the primary filter. Probably wont look as good but I feel it would be effective.

I got the water repelling prefilter with mine and found that it wasn't necessary. No water through an entire winter and no large debris either. I thought it would get choked up with hay and bugs but no. Also, the maf housing is calibrated to maintain oem specs and heat was never an issue. I sold it though, 'cause the wife complained about the beautiful sound from under the hood when I would step on it!
