Good news... I've confirmed that you can use some incentives with X plan according to Ford's X plan rules. This includes any "public" incentives, but excludes other less-generally-available incentives (i.e. Military, College graduate, etc.). So if there are public cash back or even dealer incentives, they are still applicable in combination with X plan (if you're eligible).

BTW, X plan - $500 on the ST2 I previously mentioned (with nav, moonroof, Tangerine Scream) would come to $27110-ish + $100 doc fee. That's not bad for being so well optioned.

I am making inquiries in the Atlanta area. Some, including Team Ford in Marietta, are not honoring X-plan.

I've suggested this before, but X plan may save you enough over MSRP for it to be worth buying the car in another city or even another state. Heck, buy a $200 ticket to to another state, but the one on X plan, and drive back to Atlanta. You'll probably save enough to cover the ticket, the gas for the drive back, and you'll have an get a cool road trip and story to tell about buying your ST.

True, I have found two local dealers who will sell an ST at X-plan pricing:

• Hardy Ford - Dallas GA
• John Bleakley Ford - Lithia Springs Ga

The better pricing of the two for a performance blue ST2/charcoal and blue interior with nothing else on it is:

Doc fee 0.00
Sales tax 1,537.86
Tag/title 30.00

Sound reasonable?

I would try to sell my 11 Fiesta SES privately and use their trade in offer as my backup plan.

lol... yeah, sorry about that. I've got so many VOC copies and info on the various discount plans (for research for an article for the NASTOC) that I inadvertently opened the one highlighted for A/D plans. Wish we could get that kinda discount, but X plan is mighty good too.
