Thank you, Crystal for helping me with my gasket problem. I do have to find a way to keep it from happening again though (a rapid weight loss program might help).

New to the Forum so hello everyone.

My 2012 Ford Focus has the exact same problems as others have described in detail. Both drivers side and passenger side are affected by this bad design and poor quality parts. No luck with Ford as they same normal wear and tear.

I owned a 1989 Ford Escort that was the same type of poor quality. I will continue to pay my payments ahead and be done with this hunk of junk by late 2014.

Every person I meet and know personally now knows about this poor quality product that Ford has put out. So for every penny you saved Ford you are losing with lack of quality and good customer service.

The forum "focus fanatics" was not created for you to complain about a car that is of "poor quality" myself and others included should pay attention and not slam themselves into the door frame when entering the car.

Wow I just checked and mine is worn out also. What's the fix here? Admit poor exiting behavior and have dealer fix?
What's a good price?

Looks easy to change... just a press fit?
