window tint help

I am going to tint my zx3 s windows sometime soon and I have a few ?s. What kind of tint is the best to use? Is there anything special I have to do to the rear window so I don't mess up the rear defroster? Any other tips would be appreciated.

I sure wouldnt do it yourself, unless you have experience. Which judging by your questions, you don't. Take it to a well recommended shop, you will be glad you did.

Check groupon. Here in AZ there is always some tint shop offering some deal. That is what I did. Had to pay a little extra for the quality stuff and darker tint for the rear passenger doors and the hatch. But was still a deal, something like $110 for the whole car. I think the offer was $80 for a 4 door car, 1/2 off the $160 regular price.

DiY tint never tunrs out good, never never never tint a car yourself(unless you do it professionally)

That's one of the few mods that I can think of where it's always best to have a pro do it...

I just got my windows tinted on my zx5. Went to a shop to get em done and they look absolutely amazing. I spent 120 on them and they were well worth every penny. You just cant roll down your windows or wash your car for 3 days. Honestly don't cheap out talk to a friend. One of my friends recommended a shop to me and that's how I got hooked up for 120 for nice dark tints in the back and some legal level tints up front.

^^^Thats a great price. Mine was $180 total, but I added the windshield visor for another $20. It has a lifetime warranty as well.
