In order to do a true yellow I would need to get some of the multi color LED bricks and some resistors to wire into it. Not too sure how much it would cost, but the LEDs are a tad more and of coarse all the other stuff to go with it. I can get a true yellow though.

Sadly no, there are not too many true yellow LEDs out there. I did a gold focus and he wanted yellow and bought some "yellow" off a website and they turned out to be amber. The LEDs I would use for yellow would be "million color" LEDs without the device to change the color, instead there would be resistors on the wire to change the color out put. The actual device to change the color is $40-$50 with an IR remote, and $80-$120 with an RF remote. Those prices are a guess as I have never got this setup before and can't remember the prices on them.

If you just get the strand with the resistors it wouldn't be too much more than a normal set. I tried looking up yellow LEDs and could only find amber, I have seen the million color setup with the true yellow and it does look yellow. Don't have any pictures but I can see what I can do this weekend as I have to get supplies on Saturday.

The pictures don't do it justice, it's a LOT brighter than the pictures show. It's not as yellow as I would have liked but it is yellow, a bit more yellow than the light that comes off of normal light bulbs. It's very hard to get a true yellow since I have to play with the resistance on red and green LEDs. With this setup it looks to be around $50 due to the cost increase of the LED bricks and extra bits that come along with this setup.

I can play with the strands to come up with custom colors, it will take a little extra time and money to get a custom colors but I can now do them if that is something you want to do. Teal was very cool looking btw.

Yea, but you want 2 of the same color? Looking to signal the international space station by opening and closing your trunk? LoL

It should be simple, you could just tie into the end of the first one, or splice into the begging with a T splice. Either way is like 3-5 minutes, and super easy.
