How to obtain Ford OEM part #'s
I was wondering how I can find out oem part numbers without actually having to call the dealership, because we all know we can buy the same exact oem parts cheaper online. Thanks

CFM also lists the part number for Ford parts under their details tab. Cheaper parts online plus shipping. How much are you really saving? There are only a couple aftermarket OE manufacturers I would actually get parts from. The rest, you get what you pay for. Ford has reasonable prices on most of their parts. I've seen parts in the BST section priced higher than you could get them new at Ford.

I have been on fordparts.com and they don't list the complete part number, or atleast I can't find it. I see that they list an abbreviated in the microfiches'.

The number listed is the general part number. Same across all FoMoCo models. The rest that is "missing" just tells them car specific info(make, model, motor, left side, right side). If you go to a parts store thats worth a damn they'll be able to look it up just by model/trim/motor and what is listed on the Ford parts site.

I was just wanting the whole part number so I could price shop using a search engine. So do you think the best place to get factory parts is through the dealer still?

Type "ford focus svt part" then the number in your search bar. The right part will come up almost every time. The internet isn't hard...
