I feel like my mpg took a hit after the update for highway driving. Maybe I'm just crazy. I'm ~3 mpg less than usual so far.

I haven't been able to test mine yet since it was applied. Between two MFT reinstalls, a new APIM and fresh MFT install they have had my car running for so long but not moving that my display was showing my mileage at 1.3 MPG when I picked it up. Managed to get up to a little over 8 MPG on my drive to work. Gotta give it a fill-up and a reset and still give it some time before manually calculating!

This update made a huge difference to my car. It had always felt like the transmission was always slipping a bit; the tach would wobble on shift, I had very little low end torque and very little engine braking at low RPM's. Post update, I can actually go up hills with the engine below 3k and my acceleration from a stop has gone from anemic to normal.
The computer is showing better mileage, but it will be two weeks before I know for sure.

I think an abrahams tank gets better mileage...lol

UPDATE - I just got these fixes done and have only driven a short distance but already notice much tighter shifting. It seems to brake tighter too, but that could be in my head. One thing I noticed for sure was the flashing lights from the ambulance, fire truck and police car in the neighbourhood next to the dealership where I took a quick test drive. It seems someone missed the bend in the road and went head on into a tree. The front end of the car was crumpled up, the tree partially fell down and there was a blood splatter on the wind shield. I hope it wasn't as bad as it looked.

Just had this done. Its great and very responsive. I had no real issue before especially after 19000 miles since sept 2011. Hooefully this will be a longterm good thing.

I don't think the braking is in your head. The first time I applied the brakes going forward after the install I locked my seatbelt. I also find it impossible to creep forward with slight pressure on the brake. It just makes little-bitty lurches, never fully stopping but not fully accelerating... No biggie to me.

Our 12B37 recall report

The recall for our January 2012 manufacture Ti model was done on Tuesday. And the good news is it didn't break anything, car still runs perfectly. We have not had any of the problems with the DCT or the Nav system as others have noted, and the reporgramming really shows no effect at all. This recall supposedly reporgrams the PCM/TCM/ABS.

Ours is a late Jan 2012 build, purchased early March 2012 with 2700 miles so far.
