No... what your seeing is the targeted air fuel table (base table) you ARE NOT seing the actual air fuel the engine is making

Your not seeing AF but whats in the base fuel tables as a target and that doesnt mean its what your air fuel will be

Cars have hs wide band o2 for years m this is nothing new but there worthless for WOT air fuel

Let me say this , if you do not have a standalone wide band air fuel gauge then you dont have a clue what your actual air fuel is at WOT

Scan tools are great but if you dont understand how the ECU works then you wont understand the readings your getting and in most cases this creates more confusion then anything

C-F-M sells the AEM and it works very well and if SCT ever finishes the tuning it will connect and log the AF through the flasher

No...

It's clear that the commanded (target) equivalence ratio and O2 sensor equivalence ratio are *NOT* the same. As expected (and seen in the graph), the actual AFR tracks the commanded (target) AFR during closed loop operation.

Mode 1 PID $34 will return the actual UEGO sensor current. There is *nothing* ambiguous about this part of the SAE J1979 spec.
This data does not suddenly become invalid for some arbitrary reason as you suggest and certainly there is no reason why it should.

A UEGO (wideband) sensor doesn't work properly at WOT? Is that what you are saying?

Also, are you saying that the standard mode 1 PID data for fuel system status is invalid on the 2012 Focus?

The primary O2 sensor (in the 2012 Focus) works fine at WOT. There is absolutely no reason why it shouldn't.

So is the AEM the best CAI out there? or is one preferred over the other like some people seem to favor Chevy over Ford
