Find it and qoute me. Everytime I bring up AEM its because their a true CAI unlike the others. My only complaint is that they dont have accurate numbers which in any case hurt their business..

Agree. I got an email from them when I asked if they could ship to Aus, This is how the email started off -
Thank you for choosing AEM.

The intake system for the 2012 Ford Focus 2.0 is part # 21-702 and produces 4HP @5200RPM

Are they still unwittingly hurting themselves? I guess we can't know until there is an independent dyno.

My 2012 focus s I put a k&n filter on and left cover off, but it sound weird like I lost power or sounds like a boxer motor. Is it supost too?

Many others (including myself) have done the same and got similar results in other threads.

I'd put the cover back on if I were you, but as it's your car, do what you please. If you want more intake noise, get an aftermarket unit.
