Well... I think it's worth it if you want the satisfaction of doing something pretty sweet on your own. Is it worth 20 grand to just have done? If you've got the money to spare... sure, why not? It's different.
This is my first fab project beyond building a few exhaust systems. I learned how to really weld this year but all I have is a 100 amp weld-pak with .035 inner shield. It does the job anyway. Uh, lots more to go. Going to try and see what needs to be done to mount the axle and work on wiring in the megasquirt. I know I don't have any other pictures up. I just don't know where to start. I may get this thread up to date later tonight or tomorrow. Might motivate me a bit more.
