Just bought a 03 Focus MTX

So I figured I would post pictures. I got it Friday and already have ripped into it. Its a 03 MTX model. It has a bunch of new parts in it including a new clutch. The clutch blew up and the lady let the insurance company take it since they felt it was salvaged. The place I picked it up from put the new clutch in and got it running again. I also found out that the lady probably got rid of it since the dealership she was going to put sooo many new parts in that she was getting ripped off. I mean it has a new suspension(struts and springs) all around including new sway bar bushing links everything. She was a 55 year old lady so you know it was babied some what. I figured this would be a good car to have when I plan on moving into a house coming up here in the fall. Always need a back up car right?? haha

Here are the pic's:

Oh ya my other baby:

Alright have started cleaning it out. Used the bissel and cleaned the whole interior. Also had some paint flaking off in the wheel well. Already sanded and painted that up too. For most part not to many things to it just trying to daily drive it haha.

Both are some nice looking cars. I assume the Focus will look better after a couple months?

I like the color. What would the clutch blowing have to do with an insurance claim? That doesn't add up, does it? Or in its accident did it fly up into the air, slam down on it's bottom, breaking up all the old suspension parts and break the clutch during impact? Have you given it a hard brake-check at speed yet to see if it pulls to one side? BTW, those head unit's leave a lot of room for improvement. If you don't like the sound, upgrade that before the speakers.

I wont really be tricking this one out since the zx2 is faster(nitrous and all that stuff). This is a good car I figured to drive around to work and let it get beat up on and to get some good gas mileage. I like zetec motors and always been a big fan of them.
