No not really, I had a small ignition problem but it fine now that I changed. Coil, plugs, and wires.

As she sits right now, I still to finish the front bumper, grille and connect my fogs.

Just tried to change the fuel filter, just cause I'm trying to change all the little things. But it was a no go this lil bolt is not coming off even after I let I soak in wd40.

Holy rusted metal! Wow fuel filter holder makes mine look brand new lol. Try PBblaster. I stopped using WD a long time ago. It's good for keeping parts from rusting like cylinder heads and motors, but sucks for breaking bolts loose. PB blaster much better in that regard IMO.

Ok as some of you may know the engine is offically toast. Went bad tuesday afternoon and was finished today. Before you all jump to conclusions. It was NOT the valve seat. The top end is still good, shove that in your pooper. The car spun a bearing and shut off. Had it towed to my mechanic he started to listen to it, let is sit over night then started it again to drive it into the building and it threw a rod. I'm keeping the car due to the fact I love the thing and I can't afford a new car. She is currently waiting on a heart transplant. I hope to get it back in a week or two. I'm going to see her tomorrow to get some things off the old engine that I've recently replaced, so im not out that money. I'll keep you guys updated with pics if I can.

I was also excited to find out the zetec will bolt up to the SPI trans. How ever the mechanic doesn't have time for the extra hours required to do engine swap. So it staying a SPI, it will get a completely refurbished engine. He was willing to take to the car to someone who is willing to do the swap but I don't have the time or the money to move it.

oh man that stinks, i dont know whats worse a broken rod or a dropped valve. They are both pretty destructive.

I wish you the best! & can only hope that you can find the time to do some minor engine detail work.
