Just checking in- Sold my ZX5 SVT last weekend and have a 2012 SE 5 sp hatch in Tuxedo black on order at Jim Skinner that should be here the first week of June. I have a Contour SVT as well and I was/am pretty active on those boards as well.

I hope you have better luck doing those mirror caps , when I did mine , I took them completely off and broke several tabs on both and ended up buying new mirrors . But I did manage to get those caps off without breaking them and got my caps finally painted.

how hard are they to get off? i havent tried yet. i assumed they just pop off?

There's a thread about doing mirror caps somewhere on here and the clips are in tricky positions. But if I remember correctly , drivers side mirror push it all the way to the left and go for the inside clip 1st and pop it off and work your way to the top then bottom. And that should get the caps off and on the passenger side just do it the opposite.

i took my mirror caps off and painted mine. it has been years ago though. the clips are tricky. dont break them lol

did you take the mirrors all the way off and then pop the caps off? and the tabs, do you push them in and then out? and how easy do they break?

I tried to take them off while the mirrors were on the car but that wasn't working for me . So I ended up taking them off the car and trying it that way and that was when I broke the clips but figured out how to take them off.

What area do you live in? i dont think ive meet you yet? That was a good choice in color for the new Foci, The white, black and red would be my main options. You didnt wanna order the new ST??
