Personally, I would go Steeda CAI before K&N. Not for any performance or aesthetics reasons, strictly because of the MAF issue going on.

Thanks for the compliments...I like it too! I had originally made a deal on a sterling gray Ti, but its not arriving to Galpin's dealership til this Friday. So, in the meantime, I shopped several other dealers in so cal and found a hungrier dealership willing to give me the same deal but I got the white I really wanted, the winter package and sunroof. I usually don't have patience to shop around and get intimidated buying cars, but this time was different and it worked out in my favor...at least I think it did.

I factory ordered mine(whole other story there), so color was entirely up to me. You being in SoCal, you had access to an entirely obscene amount of available vehicles to play "let's make a deal" with. Buyers market for economy cars in LA.

I wish I had shopped a bit longer. I was looking at fusions and decided to try out the focus and left with the only one S model on the lot. Silver wouldn't normally be my first choice yet I have a silver focus and a silver mustang now so I want to make them match.

I ended up close to home, at Vista Ford in Oxnard. My Salesman didn't seem too happy in the end but the sales manager took the cash deal...I am somewhat disappointed in their service dept, since I believe that customer service after the sale is what a good dealer is, that goes beyond just selling you a car. I agree with you on Galpin, but wanted to see if they were anymore competitive than other dealers...
