Agreed ^

I'd love to have mine white... But I can only imagine how hard it will be to keep brake dust and other crap off it.

Okk Off I go to FAQ's...................
Hey, so I went to the local fabric store and picked up some mesh for this. Did you create some sort of template for the fabric shape or did you just kind of guess? I'd be interested in seeing any kind of template you made... or I might just try to whip something quick up myself.

I unclipped the vent covers about 1/2 way.Dont remove them because youll want to keep lowering them back down to check the fit.I just did a rough cut and kept holding it place checking and trimming untill I was happy. If you check my previos posts theres details on how i installed it.

Just noticed your pic. That looks really clean, may have to do it myself :) Wonder if I can put a light in there when I tinker with interior lighting...

Thanks.Ya it always looked unfinished to me and my eye always went there when I was looking around the car.I like the light idea, post a pic if you do it.What id like to see is the guys who have done they're vents and console in they're body color if they did the mesh to match.Might be to much I dunno...would have to see it.

A shot of the engine cover that I installed. I painted the lettering first.
