right on, I've been wanting to do this - I'm a first timer too lol Was is easy? did you use an exacto knife?
PS don't forget to do the e-brake too

Wow, I like that a lot. I am planning on getting some white vinyl to do mine in. Was it hard to do? The only think I've done similar is putting screen protectors on laptops and tablets -_-

It was pretty difficult.

1- figure out how to take it all apart (without breaking anything)
2- wrapping it without bubbles, tears, etc
3- keeping the edges overlapped so they don't peel
4- lots of heat
5- redoing some pieces 2-3x before getting it right
6- putting everything back was a real PITA, plastic clips are crap

I ordered the best vinyl out there, 3m 1080, 5'x1' was enough for extras and mess ups. Took 4 hours with a food break.

Well, would you say all the hassle and the 4 hours was worth it? I like having projects for down time during the summer, pretty sure this will be one still =)

Worth it? Yes, I love how my interior looks now.
Would I do it for someone else? No.

Having a second set of hands is immensely helpful for prying the plastic apart and re-assembly.



Round HVAC knobs are on their way too.
