whistle sound during acceleration

okay so suddenly i'm hearing a whistle sound during acceleration. i had the stock throttle body and stock air box on and it was slightly noticeable. however, i just changed to the 67mm throttle body and a sri and now the whistle is a lot louder. This only really occurs during acceleration and not at constant speeds. Does anyone know what is going on?

Could possibly be an exhaust leak just worsening

Exhaust leaks usually tick not hiss. Sounds like something on the intake side to me. Double check all of your vacuum lines. SRI/Cold air intakes with a cone type/open element filter are typically a lot louder than stock style panel filters also.

could it be something possibly with the intake manifold? because the whistle was there both with the stock setup and aftermarket?

possibly but i think the only way to check a leak on the intake manifold can be a PITA. but i think some shops have computers that can check

My car does the same thing since I installed a Steeda SRI. It's a little whistle under certain conditions. Unless if it's really loud, I wouldn't worry about it. But if you can't live with it, you could always take off the parts that you've put on.
