Turbo, where to start?

Reading some threads and I think I would like to be a DIY'er in the turbo game in time. No offense to any seller of any kit, the ones I found are awesome and I would love to cut a check today but thats not gonna happen.

Where do I start?

Anyone with a turbo how is your fuel economy when driving sensibly? My car will still be daily driven.

I want to gather as much info as possible so I can maybe go junk yarding and gather some goodies

I still got 30 mpg highway when my ST was boosted. Honestly, check out all the duratec turbo build threads.

I have one, user "sporadic" has a good one and others.

For tuning I would HIGHLY recommended Ray @McNews Automotive in Dilsburg, PA.

id recommend a smaller turbo for you for a daily driver as well

Yes I was thinking small turbo for quick spool fun. And I was thinking about checking out McNews since they are right up the road
