Nice man, cheap too to get the spoiler fixed lol

You should try taking the resonator off from the side of the ari-box and running a second air-duct up to it, Ranger Mclaren was talking about that, I think he said run it from your lower grille on up to the air-box

the spoiler looks good now! it's all smooooth. the dude used liquid fiberglass and filled in all the cracks and holes, plus he sanded it down near perfectly. it would have cost me $60 but i gave him an old paintball gun laying around for trade

that's not a bad idea. do you know what kind of tubing i could use for that? it sounds like it would be effective.

idk what kind of tubing that you would need, I was thinking that you get another snorkel - but instead of having it go all the way up like the OEM one just cut it off around the lower grille area and take the peice that you cut off and plastic weld it so it faces the front. I am not sure how I would attach it to the side of the air box, maybe when you run it to that point you'll figure it out. Maybe something similar to the size of that opening that you could prolly find laying around the junkyard

so mount a the opening of the tubing facing the front of the car? i could even make the opening bigger. so you're saying i should pick up another snorkel tubing for the zetec and mount it down further?
i really suck at doing things by reading, that's why i like how-tos with pics. lol

here's le wing.

before:

mid-process (currently):

as you can see, it was liquid fiberglassed almost half way up the right side. so it's pretty sturdy now, compared to when it had a huge hole in it. the edges are also smoothed up. next thing to do is sand it to bare primer, primer, paint, gloss, install.

i'll probably be doing small things to my car until i get a better job, hopefully next month. i replaced a few pulleys, and got my svt wing fixed. next will be getting my hatch wiring figured out so i can add leds to the hatch. then it starts leading to bigger and better things.
