Relocating intake runner controller

I purchased the FSwerks oil cooler kit for peace of mind, and where they want me to put it, which is really the only space I have left, is the IMRC. Has anyone ever moved this box somewhere else? Walk through/pics/any advice would help

Well first of all my stock cooler is probably full of bearing and crank material right now from my recent bearing death. It was a 90 degree day, I was cruising on the highway not beating on it at all, and my oil pressure dropped to about 30psi at around 3300 rpm. I pulled over but the damage was already done and it was knocking. I don't know if it got hot and broke down, or the fact i was running 5w30 non synthetic oil on a turbo engine, if it was my clearances being .001" on my rods, or what happened. But something needs to change I'm sick of building my engine every season and it only lasting 10k miles driving it fairly conservatively

Sounds like a engine building error. changing the oil cooler wont solve anything

Correct. If ur having wrong clearances I'm suprised they last that long. It is IMPORTANT for everything to run to spec before full assembly. And if i t doesn't then. U need a machine shop to mill

0 out of 4 should be like that, your running a boosted motor you dont want to be at the min clearances by ford.

Well now they're at .0022" or .0023". Had a machine shop buddy do it. Still ditch the aftermarket cooler? What about oil what should I be using?
