I'm really waffling here,
I have to take the valve cover off and do the timing belt anyway... But Ive never done something like cams...

If you can handle a timing belt, the cams will be a walk in the park. Once you get the tensioner off and remove the belt from the cam pulleys, remove the cam cap bolts in the proper sequence, and drop the new cams in. I'd get a chilton manual so you know the torque sequence and specs, since its very easy to crack/bend an improperly installed cam. I also have cam gears, but I'd need some time to remove them from my car. I'd recommend new cam cap bolts from Massive.
