Custom Air Intake for Spi?

Yes, I took out both top and bottom of the box. The snorkel attaches to the metal bracket under the box so it stays in place. Everyone kept telling me had to leave the bottom part of the box in, but the filter was too long to fit in the box and the snorkel don't need it to stay in place. I plan to get a SVT snorkel it's a much wider at both the opening and the hose. I also cut out the plastic square just in front of the opening to allow more air flow.

Do you get some wild turbo-esque sounds when you have the AC on? I've had my set up like this for a while and with the AC on, there's a lot of gasps, 'psshs', and sounds like that.

Three inch opening? I would simply measure the inlet for the MAF and then buy a cone that fits that size. I can't even remember what size mine is. lol

Where do you put the pcv hose with a cone on?

Are you talking about the oil hose? If so I just have mine laying under the cone until I can get me a small filter to put on it.
