Stage 1 Cams/No header

I am about to be where I want as far as simple bolt-ons go on my D20; I have: SRI, CFM 67mm tb, and HKS catback exhaust (tune is in the plans as well). I am planning on getting stage 1 cams and after that saving up for a stage 1 turbo. I have watched every combo of catback, resonator, muffler, etc on a Focus D20/D23 and they all sound very noisy with a long tube race header so I really do not want to go that route if my car is going to be that loud when I am in WOT (especially if I am planning to get a turbo anyways rendering the header useless). My question is are there any gains to be had getting stage 1 cams/no header? And would the stage 1 cams compliment the future stage 1 turbo I am planning to get or is there another preferred mild cam setup for the turbocharged route? Thanks in advance.

Crane & Crower do have turbo cam sets. More lift short duration, is what your looking for w/ a turbo.

My opinion is is your going to stay on the stock engine and going boost the cams are not worth it
1 more psi of boost is free and equal to what cams would add at a hugh cost

Thank you for the responses. Looks like that is less money I have to spend elsewhere and more towards the turbo kit. One more question; can I use the same flasher device from my n/a tune (most likely Tom's tune) for my turbo setup? I see that the FSWerks kit comes with an SCT as well. Thanks again.

Yea, but either way, your paying. Get a FSwerks turbo kit w/ their flasher. Or use the flasher you get from the kit & have Tom deal w/ it. Your call.

As the old saying goes "you gotta pay to play" lol. I am thinking about the stage 1 kit and sticking with 8psi but it will be a while. For the meantime I will have fun with the bolt-ons I have so far.
