Interest in SVT Lips being made? JMS and Mach1

hahaha. ya its just that there isn't much money to be made, most Focus owners will not spend the money for a proper carbon fiber lip. Especially if its around $399-$499. The reason its so high now is because costs have gone up in the past few months.. =/

That's too bad. I'll be spending way more than 399-499 for a RS Collections front bumperr (with shipping and then paint) from the EU if and when I find one. There's the north american replica but it doesn't fit well from what I've heard/seen.

Shoot me an email and I will give you some info on the forums in the U.K. The guys have been helpful as they want some American stuff especially rear tails and have been more than willing to trade off their stuff at a pretty reasonable price.

FWIW I would take either front lip as long as the price was at or below a couple hundred dollars. My car is a DD so it cant be too expensive as it is only a matter of time before the lip gets ripped off on a curb that is out of spec or the driver is "out of spec".

Yep i've got a SVT lip on my already lowered focus and you have to pay attention when parking and park way back.

Well I'm thinking that a lof of the aftermarket bumpers out there hang much lower than the stock SVT or ZX3 bumpers, so I don't see what the big deal is. But, I know what you guys are saying; I have to be careful myself with my mach 1 lip.

Here is the Wings West W Type lip on an SVT. Can't say how it was installed, but obviously it can be done.

ooo now that looks pretty darn good. just out of curiosity, has any progress been made on making the lips for the SVT? i read several posts on the first page and then skipped right to page 6 and saw the comment from ED about not making the carbon lips because its too expensive. but what about regular polyurethane rubber, or plastic lips? i would love a mach lip.

I think a simple lip like the Fswerks old lip for the 05+ would be great for the SVT.
