your in the right place. Maybe clear your browser cache and try again.

Site was down for maintenance earlier today, but is up now. You might just be pulling up a cached page.

^^ Yup you were right, it was a cached page view, I had checked it this morning as well. I got the letter in the mail on Friday about the update and have been checking since then.

How big is the package on the thumb drive? My download went to 38%, sat there forever, then said done. It says to make sure you have at least 2gb free, but the package only ended up just under 500mb. I did it over with another thumb drive and it's currently sitting at 38% again.

Just finished updating my system. Here are my very quick thoughts:

The update system does take about 30 minutes. However, in the beginning and in the end, I thought something was going wrong. Almost at the start the system reboots itself a couple of times, then the screen goes black for a very long time...I was almost tempted to start pressing the power button but I resisted and finally the reboot process continued with whatever it was doing.

Then almost towards the end of the process the screen showed that it was installing 3 of 9 files....and it stayed there for a very long time. Again I was almost tempted to start pressing buttons because I thought maybe something went wrong but then, bam it continued and continued shortly thereafter.

Here are some very quick thoughts and findings:

1. Yes the system is bit more snappy, but not dramatically so. It is noticable though.

2. The system remembered my presets but not the clock (go figure). The temperature reading is back though.

3. The phone pairing is really easy. Also, with v. 3.5.1 my phone would automatically pair up but not blue tooth audio. Now both pairs up automatically.

4. speaking of blue tooth, on my android phone, the meta data on my mp3 songs shows up on screen when I use google play or the built in media player on the phone but IT DOES NOT DISPLAY itself when I use Amazon mp3 or pandora. Didn't try it with spotify. This is the same status as before so this update does not address this known issue.

5. Now when you use voice commands, the screen display a list of common commands depending on what mode you are in. For example, when you say "phone", the screen immediately shows common commands such as "dial", etc.

That's it for now.

Does the interface look the same? Did they give us our favorite buttons back?
