Oh also guys here is the dyno, (Note: this was on an automatic as well)

Tuning is going to help big time with these cars. I may call SCT today lol

10hp from just the intake?

They said there is a sale next week on their facebook page, so I am waiting to see if this is on sale before I buy.

I am surprised there wasnt much loss on the DCT versus the manual, they had roughly the same stock numbers as you. edit: you had a lot more torque. So the loss is there just not in the HP reading

SCT should do preorders, because i will give them money now for a tune.

Well SCT doesnt make the tunes, they may the software for tuners such as steeda, FSwerks, CFM, and others to write the tunes for your car.

Also I have been talking to Chad at steeda he is the one who designed the intake, and wanted to point out a few corrections that some people are thinking about the intake. (correcting me as well lol )

The velocity stack itself serves a few important purposes in the kit that customers should be aware of.

· It improves torque and power throughout the entire RPM range by increasing air velocity

· It reduces turbulence in front of the MAF sensor for improved driveability and tuning potential

· It increases the intake resonance (with its trumpet shape)

yeah i mistyped what I meant, I know they just write the software that allows tuning to happen, which i actually want to try and learn how to use and be able to do my own, though it might be too expensive.

Well when it comes out you can get SCT's pro racer software and write your own tune. Also When Delta tuning releases their you can write your own tune as well.

I wonder if the tuning will allow separate settings for D and S mode on the DCT, because then it would be possible for the D tune for daily use and an S tune for max performance.

For the intake
· It improves torque and power throughout the entire RPM range by increasing air velocity

the stock low end torque seems weak, so hopefully this helps with that.

When I tuned Delta bodies with HP tuners, the autos only had Part throttle, full throttle, and full throtle by RPM tuning. You could change shift points line pressure and TQ management.

But unless the values are in for the differnt drive settings for "Sport" vs "Drive" I dont think so. The tune will work across the board and transmission gears.

When I tuned them I tuned for the gear the drove in the most which was "D" and with the changes that became in reality their sport mode.

But alas we will have to wait and see what parameters are available to tune.

Sorry again off topic lol
