This will probably be a Christmas-present mod for me, unless I get too impatient.

Sniper, what light color did you go with for yours? Looks to me like 'Ice Blue' would turn out the best.
I was thinking dark blue, but they recommended electric blue so they sent me two backings. I think I was right with the dark blue, but the el-glow backing is so dim that it would be hard to see. So I used the electric blue, which matches the Scangauge at least. Just about everything is a slightly different shade anyway, same with the green... it's a Ford.

I could put a bright new backing on and see what it does, but I don't feel like taking it all apart. Maybe they can send you two backings to see what you think is best.

After all of this time I'm still not tired of them, so I'd say it's worth it!

Could not believe how fast naomi from metal monkey got back to me on the gauges. Emailed her at 12am central time and got the email back at 11am today saying she added them to the site now. Talk about awesome customer service!

I'm asking if I can get KMPH main SVT gages in red. this is the perfect alternative to that film and tearing apart shit to get color. 150$ is COMPLETLEY worth it.

soon enought I'm gonna post pics in here and FJ when I get them ordered. these must be made....... omg...

Because of this thread, I bought the non-SVT metal monkey instrument face.

Metal monkey uses film on the back of the gauges to get the color. And yes you can have the kph a diff color. Just go on the metal monkey site and look at the options for yourself. The SVT gauges will be more than #150 though due to the extra pieces.
