If you look hard enough in the pics you can see a tear in the LCD display. I tore the polarized film on the back when I did the LCD mod, so I replaced the whole screen the other day. It was easy, to me I guess, but I don't want to do it again either. ![]() Then I messed around with reverse LCD, with blue numbers and black background (white numbers by day). It worked well enough, but if the background didn’t show light then I would've been more for it, so I left it stock. The white card would probably have to be black around the numbers for a true black background. Probably would need a plotter or something. The how-to is peel off the stock polarized film that's on the front of the glass and flip the film over and the display will reverse. If you really want to do it buy a new piece of film, the old one will get messed up a little.

The Scangauge II that shows the MPH, RPM, temp, and fuel level, but the stock odometer will show the RPM and MPH.
The oil gauges have internal bump stops in the motors so they were the easiest to my surprise, I could calibrate them by hand in the house. Match the RPM and the MPH the stock digital read out and stick the needles back on. I put the tach needle on while hanging the engine at 3k for accuracy in "driving" RPM. Temp, wait for the fan to kick on and stick the needle straight up. For the fuel level just take a picture, that's about the best you can do with out some kind of other reference. I did use the picture method for the fuel and it worked perfectly, the percentages on the scangauge matched the needle as the tank emptied.

Just wanted to bump this thread because its awesome, and because I noticed Metal Monkey added the SVT gauges to their catalog:
Metal Monkey Focus SVT (USA) This will probably be a Christmas-present mod for me, unless I get too impatient. Sniper, what light color did you go with for yours? Looks to me like 'Ice Blue' would turn out the best.
