The amount of action in this build thread is insane! lolol

Nothing has changed since a month ago, other than some maintenance. Once it cools down some and gets less humid I will be painting the few things I need to paint.

Just thought I would say that in case anyone was wondering what my car has been up to. haha

Yeah I have. I would have when I put them on, but I was busy painting the car. When I can afford nicer lights, ill probably just buy the black housing ones from rockauto. Mine only have one screw each holding them on... Lol

I guess. Lol a few people were interested but wanted me to ship it which I didn't feel like doing. I broke one of the dogs last week, because the bumper has sagged so far down it squished the light and shattered when I hit a bump. I need a day to fix it. Once the bumper is on right, ill put the new fog on and make sure they're in there good.

Could someone be so kind as to answer me these paint questions before 8pm? Lol when painting a valve cover, what type of paint should be used? Is normal high temperature paint fine, or does it have to be plastic high temp paint? (If they make that.) also, what type of paint is best to use for mirror caps, trim, and door handles? I was going to use automotive spray paint but I realized maybe I should use plastic spray paint. I have a gun that I used for the car, but it would be alot of work to get it all ready, just to have fish eyes in everything. The spray paint turned out fine before and everything I'm painting is little. So I'm running to the store once I get off work to buy paint

Valve cover do hi temp paint and hi temp clear as well. Even though plastic valve cover paint does not need to for plastic. Be sure to really really really clean and degrease the cover then clean it again b4 painting.

Thanks guys! I already have the high temp clear and normal clear at home. Ill hopefully get all the odds and ends painting done and post pictures when I'm done. Now here is a question I bet nobody has asked before... If I put glitter in the paint when it's wet, do you think it'll catch on fire?! Hahaha I have an idea. But I'd rather not catch the car on fire...

Yet another question for you all! I almost got rear ended yesterday, even with one light coat of tint people still have a hard time seeing my brakes. I really want smoked LED tails. I have heard of the ones on eBay having problems. Has anyone personally dealt with them? Andy's auto has a brand on their site called JY. they make LED tails also, but they're over $100 more. What's the difference? To me a LED is a LED. But I could be wrong. They looked like the same as the ones on eBay. Opinions? Or should I just buy normal stock ones again?

Some use cheaper quality leds and materials so the leds start burning out and in high heat some of the inner plastic starts to warp. Usually the leds are not easy to replace without potentially damaging the housing.
