Last night my steering seemed to pop back and forth off center. I assumed it was the tires tracking in rain grooves, but it was the first time I have been doind 70 mph in a while. If I had a problem, does it happen at all speeds, or just higher speeds?

I believe it's anything over 45 but technically I didn't really notice it until 65-70+ Seems the faster you go the more you'll notice the issue.

Hey forceflow2,

Have you taken the Focus to the dealer yet? If you have, great! If you haven't send me a PM with the VIN, current mileage, as well as your personal and dealer contact and I'll have the Customer Service Manger review your case.

Hi cceleya,

A PM with the VIN, current mileage, personal and dealer contact info will begin the escalation process to the Customer Service Manager in your area. Shoot me one first chance you get.

Dick W,

The offer is extended to you as well; a PM with the above requested info will begin the process.

Hey realbug,

How's the Focus? Has the dealer finished the required fix? Please let me know when you have a chance.

A Ford Customer Service Manager called me at 9 am this morning... great customer service! I was very pleased. They're going to cover a rental and check with the dealer to try and have my car ready by the weekend.

Having Noemi here as a liaison to these awesome customer service managers is an invaluable service. I really do appreciate it!

Hello everyone!

I do try to keep my heart humble, but the compliments are making this a bit challenging. Thank you for the accolades, I appreciate them.

@ccelaya,

If there is a Noemi in Mexico, I have yet to meet her! lol

Typically we recommend contacting the Customer Relationship Center in your area. In your case, the number is: 01-800-719-8466 (toll free) +52 55 58 997594 (int). If you have a concern; give them a call and keep me posted on the results.

Thanks again everyone! You all rock!

Noemi

I went out last night and could not duplicate the off center pop back and forth, so I will assume it was indeed a rain groove mismatch for my tires.
I drove at speeds from 65 to 90 and all was good.

Unless someone can tell me that it has the ability to show up at random, I won't worry.

If it was a safety problem I would assume that Ford would send me a notice, right?
