My dealer couldn't fix my car, they insist on doing a "re-allignment" but even if they get the steering wheel straight, it keeps wandering.

The 12B37 update has nothing to do with the steering. It sounds like they need to perform the Steering TSB and alignment. Get it done and enjoy the car!

I had mine in to the dealer in the town where I work (not where I bought the car), and they're going to put another gear in it...this will be the second replacement gear...hope it works!

Is that your second dealer as well?...
I'm wondering if I'll have any problem getting the TSB done twice in the same car. Please keep us informed!... Unfortunately I won't be able to take the car to another dealer this week.

just had my car fixed today with a new rack and tires, alignment too and it drives WORSE then when i took it in! not happy here

Man if this update is making things worse i may as well leave mine alone. Good luck to you guys though, its sad to see such a great car marred by this stuff.

Well, the dealer told me on Thursday that new steering gears are on basically indefinite backorder. Awesome. Meanwhile, I drove this thing 100 miles on the freeway today and it's just flat unpleasant to drive. Glad I bought a new car.
