Steering question

I'm getting a clicking sound when I turn the steering wheel. I had this problem on a Wrangler I used to own and I ended up needing a new steering box.......don't tell me I need one on a car with 31,000 miles on it. Was curious if this is common among the Focus?

Would the warranty be voided if I installed Eibach suspension?

quite possibly. they could give you some BS about how the drop affected the driveline angle and added stress to the joint blah blah blah. wait, you're a truck guy, right? you should know this. it's like lifting a truck a foot or so, not making any changes to the drivline angle, and wondering why you keep snapping u-joints. realistically, though, i couldn't see so moderate of a drop causing your problem.

try running it down to Bob Baker if your dealer gives you guff. I've heard they're a little more "mod-friendly" since they mod a lot of cars and trucks right off the floor.
